Planning a wedding during covid is not an easy task. What will life and local restrictions be like in 6 months? When can I book a date that I can be sure will work out? Of course there are no easy answers to these questions. Cakewalk makes one thing easy: we never charge for date changes or cancellations. That’s right- you can book cakewalk now for your future event with the peace of mind that if you should need to push the date forward or outright cancel- we won’t charge you a thing. It’s just how we do business.
Call now to discuss having the funnest band ever play at your wedding! 778-882-5645 The Boston Dynamics robots are at it again. They'd be a great addition to a Cakewalk show! Merry Christmas everyone! Catch our singer Sky in the Lifetime Christmas film "Sweet Mountain Christmas". He plays a singer in bar while the romantic leads dance and re-kindle an old flame. They also play his original songs 4 times in the film!
Looking for a way to make the film extra cheer-y? Here's a Sweet Mountain Christmas drinking game (careful to drink responsibly, they say these words a lot!) - If you were hosting a wedding or dance party this summer what would be the new hot song that you would want to hear? We're thinking that the Weeknd's "Blinding Lights" might be the song of the summer. Do you love it? Discuss Cakewalk takes the Covid19 virus and social distancing measures very seriously. All of our 2019 shows have been cancelled or postponed, and we haven't gotten together as a group to rehearse since early March. We as a group have never underestimated the importance of keeping our skills sharp through frequent practice so we've had multiple conference calls to figure out a solution. We've looked at different online rehearsal platforms (all failed) and we've been recording ourselves at home and sharing the tracks with each other to show progress. We've also added a lot of new songs to our repertoire since we have so much downtime to learn new material :P.
We definitely miss getting together to play real live music, but when we're able to do so, we'll bring the noise in a big way. Hoping you and your families are safe and well, Sky Cakewalk Band singer If you’re planning your wedding or party right now, it’s a tough call knowing what date to book when the world will be back to normal.
Although Cakewalk holds a small deposit in order to book a date, WE WILL NEVER CHARGE YOU ANYTHING for cancellations related to Covid. Feel secure in knowing that working with Cakewalk means no pressure, no obligations, no worries. If the world is back to normal by your party date, we’ll celebrate like it’s 1999. If it isn’t, we’ll be here when you’re ready 😎 ~Sky A live band adds a whole different energy and feeling to a wedding- and makes it SO much more memorable. Can you afford Cakewalk though? Probably...
If you’re already thinking of hiring a DJ then you know what it costs to have a professional sound system at your wedding. Luckily, we purchased all of our own gear years ago so we can pass on that savings to you. Sure, you’re hiring 7 people for nearly 12 hours of work from set up to tear down (6 players and a sound tech) but we love what we do and it shows- often times we’re priced not much higher than a solo DJ. We get it- Vancouver is expensive, and weddings... don’t get you started right??? It’s crazy. That’s why we price ourselves fairly and transparently. Your cousin probably offered to use Spotify to DJ for free- sure, you could risk that. Our band has been together since 2007 and we know the pitfalls and double checks to make sure that your night runs smoooooothly. Cakewalk keeps the dance floor packed from start to finish. I’ve overheard people on the dance floor hoping we’ll play a bad song so that they can get a bathroom break 🤣 (not gonna happen). Call us today to talk about a price that works for you. After all, LIVE music makes the night magical. ~Sky Classic Backstreet Boys can make anyone sing along :pThis is funny- and pretty good! |
